CRA, Founder & Owner

Dana Mauch

Dana Mauch is the Founder and Owner of Best Skin Research, LLC. Dana has worked in the clinical research field for over 30 years. She began her career as a study coordinator for inpatient infectious disease trials at the Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, PA followed by participation in HIV clinical trials, some being the first conducted in the US. After a decade of hospital-based employment, Dana began working independently as a consultant managing clinical trials for both large and start-up pharmaceutical companies. She collaborated with physicians at the Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center to develop a Phase 1 clinical trial for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and during this assignment gained expertise in grant writing, particularly NIH - SBIR and R01 grants. Dana’s introduction to Dr. Schleicher by a mutual friend has led to a long-term professional relationship. DMMResearch, founded by Dana, rapidly expanded to a consulting group comprised of researchers and support staff. Dana and Dr. Schleicher have worked together on nearly 100 dermatology clinical trials and investigator-initiated case studies. DMMResearch was acquired by Vial Health Technology in 2022 which divested its clinical trial division in 2024. In September 2024, Dana founded Best Skin Research, LLC. Our research team continues work on cutting-edge clinical trials underwritten by major pharmaceutical companies including Amgen, Galderma, Lilly, Pfizer, and Sanofi.
