Stephen Schleicher
Dr. Schleicher is a board-certified dermatologist who brings three decades of
experience in the field of dermatology. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from
Rutgers University, received his medical degree with academic honors from the
Drexel/Hahnemann Medical College, and completed his dermatology residency
at the Temple Skin and Cancer Hospital. The author of three books and over four
hundred medical journal case reports, Dr. Schleicher served for 10 years on the
advisory board of the Day Spa Association and the editorial board of the journal
Emergency Medicine. He co-hosted the radio call-in show Speaking of Your Skin
and currently co-hosts the cable television show, Skin Sense. Founder and
director of the DermDox Dermatology Centers (dermdox.org), Dr. Schleicher has
served as a principal investigator for over 100 phase I-IV clinical trials dealing
with conditions such as acne, actinic keratoses, eczema, hidradenitis,
molluscum, neurofibromatosis, psoriasis, and rosacea. He has also conducted
clinical trials of over-the-counter products for companies based in France,
Iceland, Sweden, and the United States. A pioneer in the field of teledermatology,
he is a past ComputerWorld Honors Laureate and recipient of the Outstanding
Specialty Provider award by the nonprofit Volunteers in Medicine. He co-founded
the only joint podiatry/dermatology fellowship in the US and is a clinical instructor
of dermatology at Kings College and Arcadia Universities.
